Tom Cole
Founder/Owner
ThomasAndrew Small Business Advisors was founded by Tom Cole after a 33-year career of entrepreneurial and economic development success for the communities he served as Economic Development Administrator, City Administrator, Community and Economic Development Director as well as Executive Director of a workforce housing developer and contractor. He’s also started and operated numerous small businesses of his own…including ThomasAndrew!
Tom has been instrumental in the creation/retention of over 15,000 jobs and $1 billion of new capital investment. Such success has been the result of consensus building and an unwavering commitment to teamwork. Solid partnerships with state agencies, regional development councils, governing bodies, chambers of commerce, real estate professionals, educational institutions and independent business owners have been critical in attaining such success.
Tom holds both a Masters (MBA) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University. In 2001, Tom earned and maintained the designation of Certified Professional Economic Developer (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Council and was the youngest person to have earned the designation for nearly 20 years. He brings a methodical, yet distinctly creative approach to every project and client.
Additionally, Tom has served on the Board of Directors of numerous economic development agencies and has maintained an exceptional relationship with the International Economic Development Council for over 25 years. While Tom Cole serves as the primary consultant, ThomasAndrew is comprised of numerous ancillary associates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Texas hosting vast experience in all aspects of development.
ThomasAndrew offers an affordable solution to either launch your business or to smooth out some of those issues entrepreneurs often encounter but haven’t experienced on their own.
